9 Vegan Cookbooks I Just Adore
The flour-dusted, sauce-splattered shelf that helped make vegan cooking feel limitless.

A good cookbook teaches you how another cook thinks — where they build flavor and how they turn a pile of vegetables into the thing everyone wants seconds of.
My own *Healthy Happy Vegan Kitchen* is bright, cozy, nourishing, and never afraid of a very good sauce. *365 Vegan Smoothies* gives the blender a little more of the work.
Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero's *Veganomicon* is a big, funny modern classic. Chloe Coscarelli's *Chloe Flavor* brings crowd-friendly energy. Lauren Toyota's *Hot for Food Vegan Comfort Classics* handles saucy, crispy cravings.
Angela Liddon's *The Oh She Glows Cookbook* helped define approachable plant-based cooking. Gena Hamshaw's *Power Plates* makes balanced meals practical without feeling clinical.
The book formerly titled *Thug Kitchen* was republished as *Bad Manners: The Official Cookbook*. Miyoko Schinner's *The Homemade Vegan Pantry* is for joyful kitchen tinkering.
You do not need a wall of cookbooks. One voice that makes you excited to cook is enough. Stain the pages and make the recipes your own.
