Terms of Service

Finding Vegan (the “Service”) is operated by Polished DC LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you are contracting with Polished DC LLC, and by continuing to use it you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.

The Service

Finding Vegan is a curated gallery of plant-based recipes that links to creators' original posts. We also sell a one-time Recipe Import Service, where we import up to 100 recipes (photo, title and link) from a creator's own website onto their Finding Vegan profile.

Your account and content

• Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You must own, or have permission to share, every photo and recipe you submit or ask us to import. You keep ownership, and grant us a limited licence to host, display, resize and share it to run and promote the Service.
• We may remove content or decline imports at our discretion, e.g. content that isn't vegan.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

• unlawful use, fraud or spam;
• infringing anyone's intellectual property;
• interfering with security — malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
• reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.

Our intellectual property

Polished DC LLC retains all rights in the Service, including its software, design, documentation and the Finding Vegan brand.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

Service level and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, data or goodwill), and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your published content may be removed; you can ask us to delete your data.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Polished DC LLC is registered, whose courts have jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
